SMRide helps you manage vehicle maintenance, service history, and ownership costs. We respect your privacy and aim to be transparent about how data is handled within the app.
SMRide stores vehicle details, service records, maintenance reminders, and any notes or photos you attach. This information is stored locally on your device and is not collected by VelosityIQ unless you explicitly export or share it.
SMRide may request permission to access device storage or photos if you add images to records. Permissions are only used to enable those features and are not used for tracking.
If you choose to export or back up your data (for example, by creating an export file or using a cloud backup feature), that action will transmit the exported data to the destination you select. VelosityIQ is not responsible for third-party storage or sharing you initiate.
SMRide does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking services. If we add integrations or services in the future, we will disclose them here.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Data is only shared when you explicitly export, share, or choose to use an integration.
SMRide is suitable for general users and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your SMRide data is stored on your device. Protecting your device (passcode, OS updates) helps secure your information. If cloud backup or sync features are added, we will document the security measures used.
We may update this policy to reflect app changes or legal requirements. The “Last Updated” date indicates the current version.
